MIDDLETOWN, Pa., March 10, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — One winning Powerball® ticket worth $1 million from the Saturday, March 8, drawing was sold in Monroe County.

The ticket sold at Mount Airy Casino Resort, 312 Woodland Road, Mount Pocono, correctly matched all five white balls, 10-14-24-32-41, but not the red Powerball 30, for a $1 million second-tier prize, less 25 percent federal withholding.

The retailer receives a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Lottery officials cannot confirm the identity of the winner until the prize is claimed and the ticket is validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.

The Lottery encourages the holder of the winning ticket to sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at any of Lottery’s seven area offices or at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County.

Claims may be filed Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at area offices and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at headquarters.

More than 23,122 other prize-winning Powerball tickets were sold statewide for the March 8 drawing.

The Powerball jackpot grew to an estimated annuity value of $60 million, or $33.8 million cash, for the Wednesday, March 12, drawing.
